The hotel location was perfect for our needs and very clean, but the rooms were small and cramped, especially the bathroom. The dining experience was overpriced and felt hectic with items not being refreshed promptly.
The hotel was on the ground floor with a 10cm gap between the corner of the double bed and the window, which we didn't sign up for. The service was poor due to being understaffed, with only 3 staff managing 150-200 covers, resulting in dirty tables. On the bright side, the location was great for walking to Crystal Palace pubs and restaurants, but it felt dark and depressing.
The hotel is situated in an ideal location for Crystal Palace & Croydon and is good for those who need proximity to these areas. The rooms, while clean and spacious, had some outdated furniture and lack of WiFi due to ongoing renovations. The dining experience, although paid for, left much to be desired. However, the family rooms were clean and sizeable, offering comfort. Not the most convenient if you prefer breakfast in your room, but the value for money is decent.
